Once in your hosting directory (which you can access either by FTP or via the Panel), you must put your files in the /public_html folder for Cpanel and or in /httpdoc for Plesk of your hosting. This folder is the public directory for your account. All files in this folder will be accessible by your domain name. Here are some examples :
Please note that the www folder is a shortcut to /public_html or /httpdoc. For your files to be visible, they must be in the /public_html or /httpdoc folder of your hosting.
